Craniosacral and Somatic Therapy in Brighton

I’m Steve Bonnelucq-Lane, a Registered Craniosacral Therapist and Somatic Therapist, working with adults, in-person from private therapy rooms in central Brighton.

People often come to body oriented approaches like Somatic Therapy and Craniosacral Therapy because they want to feel more comfortable in their own skin and are looking for something that is beyond words alone. . My work is grounded in somatic and relational approaches, helping people to expand the range of feelings, sensations and emotions they can hold so that they can engage more fully in their life and relationships.

Brighton Craniosacral & Somatic Therapy: How Can I Help?

I work with adults from across Brighton & Hove and the surrounding areas including Shoreham, Portslade, Patcham, Woodingdean, Hanover, Kemptown, Rottingdean, Hangleton, and Worthing. People I see often bring concerns such as:

  • Anxiety, stress, panic or feeling overwhelmed

  • Addiction

  • Boarding School Syndrome

  • Grief, loss, bereavement or significant life change

  • Trauma including PTSD and CPTSD

  • Chronic Health Conditions - chronic pain, HIV, MS, Dementia and Cancer

  • Psychosexual Issues

Some people begin therapy with a clear problem or diagnosis but often there is a sense of feeling outside of themselves or detached from life in general. There may be patterns of behaviour or situations that keep repeating, sometimes this can be hard to put in to words. Whatever the reason for starting, everything is connected so it’s important to arrive as you are and trust that the path will appear with every step you take.
